Martin Bourboulon discusses new project 13 Jours, 13 Nuits with Première Magazine
We’re thrilled to share that Première magazine has featured an interview with Martin Bourboulon, the director behind Les Trois Mousquetaires films.
In the interview, Martin reveals insights into his latest project, 13 Jours, 13 Nuits, a gripping tale set against the backdrop of the 2021 fall of Kabul.
The film tells the story of Mohamed Bida, a French diplomat, and ten elite police officers, who, amidst the chaos, work tirelessly to evacuate 500 civilians and diplomats from the heart of the Taliban takeover.
The director discusses the shift from historical fiction to a modern, intense true story, saying, "This new, exciting project allows me to explore a different genre, continuing my evolution as a filmmaker."
With Roschdy Zem in the lead, the film promises to bring raw emotion and courage to the screen, capturing the bravery of those caught in the horrors of history.
