Balenciaga unveiled its Summer 25 campaign, photographed and directed by Nadia Lee Cohen!
The campaign draws on classical Hollywood screen tests, featuring a cast of actors, artists and models portrayed as cinematic archetypes such as The Socialite, The Villain, or The Girl Next Door. Set against a monochrome curtain backdrop, each portrait and video is accompanied by voiceover narration in the style of archival screen test recordings, describing the characters’ traits and attire.
The cast includes Kyle MacLachlan, Sunnyi Melles, Coumba Samba, Mark Eydelshteyn, Rachel Sennott, Linda Honeyman, Zhou You and others. The campaign also features still-life images of the Laurel Classic Polo, new variations of the Rodeo Bag in mineral green, grey and almond, and footwear styles from the House’s collaboration with Scholl, including heeled sandals, clogs, and the Basketball Sneaker.
